I've always wanted a dog for as long as I can remember. It's been a dream, and mom was scared of dogs, so I honored her request by not getting one... but since she's been gone, my heart has really been empty, and I feel that emptiness.
Then this happened. A post in my Facebook feed about puppies about 2 hours away in Oklahoma. My dream mix is even a Golden Retriever and a Pyrenees. I called the owner and we chatted and immediately drove up to pick up this adorable baby.
Welcome to the family, Chauncey Gardner. Named after my favorite dog, who was of course named after Peter Sellers character in Being There.
