If you have a dog who enjoys "borrowing" things, then you'll understand my daily battle with kitchen towels.
For some reason, Chauncey has decided that the towel hanging from the oven handle is his personal toy. It doesn't matter if I'm cooking dinner or just washed my hands. If he gets the opportunity, he's grabbing that towel and proudly parading through the house like he's won first prize.
Needless to say, I've gone through my fair share of kitchen towels.
Then I found one with a simple little feature that has made a surprisingly big difference...

If Chauncey truly sets his mind to something, all bets are off.
But because the towel is actually secured to the handle instead of loosely draped over it, it's much harder for him to casually snatch as he walks by.
I'll take every little victory I can get.
Besides keeping the towel where it's belongs, I actually like the towel itself.
It's soft, absorbent, washes well, and I love that it stays neatly in place instead of ending up on the kitchen floor every time someone dries their hands.
Sometimes it's the little household finds that make everyday life just a little easier.

Absolutely. I actually did!! I have then hanging from both the oven and the dishwasher.
They're functional, they're cute, and they've made my kitchen just a little less entertaining for one very mischievous Great Retriever.
