When Chauncey first started training with Elementum K9, I really wanted to focus on developing Chauncey's core after our training at PetSmart. Our morning walks have become one of my favorite parts of the day.
Chauncey loves to stop and investigate every interesting scent along the trail. With a traditional leash, I constantly found myself either pulling him along or getting tangled as he explored.
The 26-foot FLEXI leash gives him enough room to sniff, wander, and enjoy his surroundings while still allowing me to stay in control. If another dog, cyclist, or squirrel suddenly appears, the brake is right at my fingertips and locks instantly. We've been practicing our "Chauncey, come" command and he's been perfect. Built for Big Dogs
Chauncey isn't exactly a little lap dog (he's a Great Retriever), so I wanted something that felt sturdy enough to handle his size and strength.
The FLEXI Xtreme feels incredibly well made. The handle is comfortable, the tape retracts smoothly every single time, and nothing about it feels flimsy. We've used it every morning since it arrived, and it still works just as smoothly as the first day.
